RAIID (Residents Against Insidious and Inappropriate Developments)

RAIID, Residents Against Insidious and Inappropriate Developments, are a group of residents, who are fed up with the constant stress and pressure we suffer by overdevelopment, and in particular the planned schemes in Carbis Bay and St Ives. We are not connected to the former local organisation Raid or its function. We are particularly focussed on the fight to stop the development at Carbis Bay Holiday Park on Laity Lane, Carbis Bay and have successfully fought the outline planning application for 165 houses at Consols, St Ives. Despite the complete breakdown of the democratic process, in the approved planning expansion of the Una project at Carbis Bay and the paltry investigation of this flawed process that followed. We will continue to monitor this process.

If you agree with us, think we should fight against inappropriate development plans and save our community, then please join us…
