We’re excited to be able to share with you an update on the ground source heating being installed at The Old Vicarage Flats project in St Ives.
St Ives Community Land Trust is excited to collaborate with Kensa to bring affordable, low-carbon heating to the heart of St Ives, Cornwall. Through this pioneering project, we are transforming the historic Old Vicarage into six modern, sustainable rental homes, powered by Kensa’s efficient ground source heat pumps.
What makes this project special?
– Sustainable heating: Harnessing renewable energy from the ground to support a greener future for St Ives.
– Affordable warmth: Providing residents with lower energy bills and increased comfort.
– Historic transformation: Demonstrating that even older buildings can benefit from innovative, eco-friendly heat pump technology.
– Community-driven innovation: Supported by the St Ives Town Deal and delivered with local expertise, ensuring the project serves the community’s needs.
Join us in watching the installation of our Cornish-made Shoebox heat pumps as we drill deep beneath the town centre to unlock sustainable energy for our community.
