National Animal Welfare Trust Cornwall
The National Animal Welfare Trust’s centre in Cornwall came about as a result of the inspiring work of Molly Wyatt. Molly worked hard over many years to provide rescue and rehoming service in Cornwall, and shortly before her death in 1996 she asked if NAWT would be willing to carry on her work. We agreed to and in 1997, we took over financial and organisational responsibility for the work in Cornwall.
We rehome around 300 cats and dogs at our Hayle centre every year. Every animal has been individually assessed and cared for by our experienced and dedicated staff. All animals are vet-checked, neutered, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped before being rehomed.
We also have a local charity shop in Hayle and further afield at Falmouth and can accept donations for the shops directly at the centre.
