St Ives Town Council has around 50 allotment plots at Trowan, west of St Ives which are currently all let but we do keep a waiting list for when plots become available.

In 2020, St Ives Town Council entered into a ten-year lease for the use the field at Trowan as allotments.  The field is flat, arable land.  Although slightly out-of-town, it can be reached by walking, car, bicycle and bus (bus stop is 5 – 10 minutes walk). 

Parking is available in an adjacent field.  The site is within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it an enjoyable place to work and grow your fruit and vegetables. It is the responsibility of the allotment holder to keep your plot(s) to an acceptable standard.

St Ives Town Council currently hold a waiting list for those interested in a plot when one becomes available to those who live within the TR26 area. To find out more, or to be added to the waiting list please contact St Ives Town Council directly using the contact information above. 

The current annual rental rates are:
Full plot – £65
2/3 plot – £43
1/3 plot – £22

Membership of the St Ives Allotment Association is open to plot holders and anyone who is on the waiting list. If you would like to become an allotment member the fee is £10 which is voluntary.
