St Ives Concert Band

St Ives Town Band has been in existence since 1879 and has had a home in the band-room since 1928 which the members then built and paid for.

In 2004 with a declining membership it was decided that the band would reform as a concert band which enabled it to accept woodwind players, electric instruments and percussion.

St Ives Concert Band was formed in 2006 by the committee of the St Ives Town Band which has been playing in the town for over 130 years and meets in the Bandroom off the Stennack that was built by the members in the 1920s.
